6. How many millimetres make 1 kilometre?





ANSWER= (D) 10,00,000 millimeters
Explain:- Since 1 metre is equal to 1000 millimetres. 1 k.m is equal to 1000 metres. So 1000×1000= 10,00,000 millimetres.

 

7. A book exhibition was held for four days is a school. The number of tickets sold at the counter on the first, second, third and final day was respectively 1094,1812, 2050 and 2751. Find the total number of tickets sold on all the four days ?





ANSWER= (C) 7707
Explain:- Total 4 days books exhibition added. 1094+1812+2050+2751=7707

 

8. Shekhar is a famous cricket player. He has so far scored 6980 runs in test matches. He wishes to complete 10,000 runs. How many more runs does he need?





ANSWER= (B) 3020
Explain:- Here total runs minus he has scored runs to get does he need runs. 10,000 - 6980 = 3020 runs

 

9.Find the difference between the greatest and the least 5 digit number that can be written using the digits 6,2,7,4,3 each only once.





ANSWER= (A) 52965
Explain:- Greatest number is 76432, Smallest number is 23467 difference between 52965

 

10. A vessel has 4 litres and 500 ml of curd. In how many glasses each of 25 ml capacity, can it be filled?





ANSWER= (B) 180
Explain:- One litre is equal to 1000 ml. So total litres is 4,500 ml. In each glass contain 25 ml. So total ml by each ml to get result; 4500/25 = 180 glass can be filled by curd.
